Raccoon Removal in Missouri City
A raccoon in the attic in spring is usually a mother with young. Getting them all out, then sealing the opening, is the difference between fixed and a callback.
Something heavy moving around in the attic, especially in spring? That is often a mother raccoon with babies. We get them all out, check for young so none are left behind, then seal the way she got in with heavy steel mesh so the space cannot be used again.
Spring is den season
Most attic raccoon calls come in spring, when a female picks a warm, dry, protected space to raise a litter. Remove the adult and leave the young and you have a worse problem in the walls within days. We check for a litter first, get them all out, and only then close the house.
Sealing it so they can't get back
Raccoons are strong and pull open soffits, roof returns and vent covers. We seal those entry points with heavy-gauge rustproof mesh and hardware they cannot tear through, and can clean the attic contamination they leave behind.
